In unison, you say, "Oh, behold!
We wish your life is filled, with love like ours,
Happy and content, it shines brighter than the stars;
Together we join hands, humbly seeking divinity,
To bestow upon us, blessings for eternity!"
Once upon a time, I too knew such a deep love,
Failing me in blessings, frowned the heavens above;
Love was replaced by, mistrust, contempt, and despair,
I was left distraught, my dreams adrift in the air.
Then came the time, I thought I could make it work,
Ignored my troubles, focusing on the parts filled with mirth;
How long could I ignore, the mountain of problems galore,
All my needs now seem distant, from aeons before!
I fought for my love, a mighty and valiant fight,
To hold pieces together, that now crumbled on sight;
Ashes to ashes, I saw my love bite the dust,
While my future stayed buried, forgotten at best.
I then reached a place, where I can say, I survived,
Each day at a time, I bide my immediate tide;
Seeking the heavens, for blessings they failed me before,
Praying to find the love, in this lifetime once more.
Now with you, I find, my inner calm, confidence, and peace,
The piece of my heart, with your love, is no longer amiss;
I look up into your deep eyes, and wish for all of mankind,
Holding your hands, in an ecstatic state of mind...
In unison, we say, "Oh, behold!
We wish your life is filled with love like ours,
Happy and content, it shines brighter than the stars;
Together we join hands, humbly seeking divinity,
To bestow upon us, blessings for eternity!"
