Dark embraces the night,
New moon tonight,
The sky misses the moon,
The way I miss you…
My long night starts,
No wish upon the stars,
Hopes running low,
Life is on a slow…
Dreams are all on halt,
Is it my moons’ fault?
To greet something new,
Old has to be let go…
The morrow is another day,
The moon will rein again,
Slowly she shall grow,
Hopes renewed with her glow…
Then suddenly one night,
She will rule all that’s in sight,
Stars light the sky aglow,
Full moon proudly, the star of show…
From the very next night,
She diminishes in size,
As she continues to grow small,
Humility, is her lesson for all…
Till gradually one night,
We all crave for her light,
The world misses the moon,
The way I miss you…
