Poem # 69 Tomorrows Past

Whoever wished me ill,
I wish u would take it back;
Life has been in a stand still,
Everything, so out of whack.

I am tired of living like this,
I don't know what I did wrong;
Everything takes a wild miss,
Happiness on a hike for so long.

They say first impressions are the best,
I should have stuck with my initial 'No';
You wooed me without any rest,
Till I uttered the words "I Do".

Fun with you is always cut short
Don't know why, we can't make it last;
My every little slight, makes your ire start,
Our laughter and smiles, a long forgotten past.

Now you blame me, for where we are,
And accuse me, of ruining your life;
You say that you do not care,
And don't respect me as your wife.

As it stands, we live under one roof,
Two strangers, who wish we hadn't met;
Our love is lost, and we remain aloof,
Hoping today is tomorrow's past, that we will soon forget.
