The little drops of water, pouring from the sky,
Match the sad tears, trickling down my eye;
You are, my life’s biggest mistake,
My one wrong choice, all my dreams forsake
The downpour gushed, with a vengeance,
As though life depended, on its deliverance;
I did not know, I was signing up for a long sentence,
Troubled, I await the end of my repentance.
Eagerly I wait, for the inevitable day,
When the rains will wash, all the mess away;
The world will shine, glow bright and new,
Happiness reflecting, like diamonds strewn.
My tears long dried, face now smiling with a glow,
Bountiful blessings, my faith in the universe restored;
Hope and love, shining through my life renewed,
Looking towards a bright future, that’s new...
