Ours was definitely, a chance meeting,
Couldn’t have imagined, a weirder setting!
As my bestie and I, scaled to jump off with gall,
Daring to climb over, the boys hostel compound wall!
There you were crouching, on the other side,
Lending a helping hand, coming to our aid!
From then on, we became staunch friends,
Relying on each other, through life’s sappy trends;
You ended up in my undergrad class, for years four,
Someone I could rely on, when I faced many a shut door;
Time rolled on, and we lost touch for a while,
Living our lives, through many a tear and smile;
When we met again, it was as though we were always connected,
Munchie, your have been a wonderful friend someone I have always respected!
