The silence between us, is too loud,
Earthquakes, would have made lesser sound;
My mind, is in a constant state of noise,
Enhanced, by the absence of your voice;
Each day begins, with the memory of your loss,
Reliving good times, and all that it was;
The distance between us, has only risen,
Increasing time apart, it’s only competition!
You are the reason, for my fall,
And you are, the only relief and salve;
Without you, I need to now brave on,
Singing my life’s, solo song;
I really wish, we had parted as friends,
Ensuring, that this wasn’t our end;
Whispering words, of love and loyalty,
I know one day you will come back to me!
Take your time, my conviction is strong,
Think with your heart, and you can’t go wrong;
Right now anger and ego, have a strong hold,
Set them aside, and choose to be bold;
Sleepless nights, of cheerful banter,
Love and laughter, is what I see as our future;
We will once again, find true happiness,
Together, we can dare to dream, towards success!
