I first remember you rushing out your door,
A little tiny boy, swift as you, there was none;
You used to always roll on the grass and tumble over,
Little riots of laughter, and got tickled all-over!
You always loved to share your stories with me,
Warm hugs, kisses and bundles of glee;
Occasionally fighting with your sister,
If someone else dared, they saw your little fists mister!
You are loving, kind, a little boy with your own mind,
Open, warm, selfless and loyal, no fault to find;
You are skilled, sensitive, smart and always stand apart,
A style of your own, that wins all our hearts!
Watching ET freaked you, when you were seven,
While dinosaurs still are your blissful heaven!
Lego and Spider-Man seem to be the vibing craze,
As you tap and jive to music, crowds cheering to your sways.
Your hugs are the most comforting, for you hug with all your heart,
No expectations, though I hear the list for this birthday could fill a cart!
Excited that you are turning double digits this year,
Here are my wishes for health, happiness, prosperity and cheer!
