When betrayal, is the new norm,
When trust seems, to have lost its charm;
When your heart is broken, to a million pieces,
When love is a stranger, lost to our species;
When the feeling of loss, overweighs the mind,
When what we have gained, is distant and hard to find;
When sadness takes over our life, on a high gear,
When happiness takes a break, and seems like a blur;
When fear is on the rise, and scary thoughts surround,
When courage is fleeing, not willing to stay around;
Think positive and dispel your doubts,
You are your mind’s master, so line up your thoughts;
Remember to have conviction, faith in yourself,
Sail through the chaos, for “This too shall pass!”
