Ironic that we met as guests, at a wedding first,
A strange bond formed, like old friends from past;
The next wedding that we, together cheered along,
How I wish, I had known it would be our last!
Here I am trying to pen my thoughts right,
Deep sadness, at your sudden demise;
You were a source of strength steadfast,
Supporting us, always a constant enthusiast!
Divine devotion within you, shone strong and bright,
You never hesitated, to try make things right;
Words of wisdom, from you were a gift we treasured,
The impact it made in our lives, cannot be measured.
A thoughtful, compassionate soul that you were,
When needed, you never hesitated to dare;
As a matriarch, you never faltered to set things straight,
Stepping in, to do what to your conscience was right.
Unwavering faith, was your source of power and belief,
To trust in God and show kindness to those who deceive;
You were always there, when we needed an anchor or a shore,
These are a few things we will remember you for!
