Yesterday, was a day I needed,
After a week of missing my birth home;
Mercifully, my prayers were heeded,
And my friends were sent from above.
Yesterday, was a blissful day,
As joyful as can be;
Dear friends and their little ones' made my day,
I was happy and content for all to see.
I thank you God, for bringing into my life,
People, willing to include me in their love;
Friends that make my dreary days come alive,
Sharing their happiness throughout.
