Finally it has come to this,
Nine years all gone amiss!
Life has been standing still for so long
Do I still know how to go on?
So many dreams that were crushed over the years
No one beside me now, as I lay down in tears
They say once you find the one, the search ends
Nine years down, I see a forked bend
Two distinct routes that I need to choose from
One that’s a path that I have already come
Hurt and beaten, I can no longer cope
The other, lonely now, yet filled with hope
Seems like an easy choice but its’ not
Need my future to give me a lucky start
Finally it has come to this,
Nine years all gone amiss……
