Poem # 19 You and I (Aug 17, 2018)

Here I am, a rainbow in the sky,
There you are, color blind in the eye.

Here I am, spreading joy and cheer,
There you are, paranoid with fear.

Here I am, lonely in my solitude,
There you are, stuck with a bad attitude.

Here I am, open to share a life,
There you are, stabbing my back with a knife.

Here I am, ready to open my heart,
There you are, doing everything to drive us apart.

Here I am, hoping to make it work,
There you are, in the same place stuck.

Here We are, losing all our time,
Coz your ego won’t budge, not an inch out of line!
